Plastic Welding of Machine Parts
The damaged panel or cover on the machinery must be removed by the customer, as plastic welding involves heat, which poses a fire risk that could spread to the machinery. Our company does not handle the removal of parts.
The damaged and removed panels must be clean and grease-free. They must be provided in a clean condition to the repair personnel. The repair personnel will not perform any additional work on the damaged parts, such as cleaning, degreasing, or removing the damaged part from the machinery.
The materials used in the panels of machinery often differ from those used in traditional vehicles. In some cases, the panels or covers are made of fire-resistant materials, which cannot be repaired using plastic welding. Some types use fire-resistant materials in the manufacture of fenders.
In some cases, the inner wall of the part may have markings, codes, or other data indicating the type of material.
This information is very helpful in enabling our repair team to provide the most accurate estimate to the customer.
For our quotation, we need to see a photo of the damaged part first.
We always request a few photos of the damage from the customer to provide a rough cost estimate for the repair. The repair cost does not include the call-out fee.
